It’s been a while since my last blog post, so here’s my latest update. These past few months have been crazy!

My friend Karen and I hosted a pizza fundraiser, and it was a huge success! (We made over 450 pizzas!!!) We raised a good chunk of money, and honestly, it was an adventure. We decided to make the pizzas completely homemade—crust and all—and even delivered them ourselves. (Pro tip: I definitely don’t recommend doing it that way!) We spent late nights for a whole week straight just making pizza crusts. It was exhausting, but so worth it. I’m beyond thankful for all of our friends and family who were eager to jump in and help us. We absolutely couldn’t have done it without you!

On a more personal note, I want to be honest: it hasn’t all been easy lately. I’ve been facing some opposition about this mission trip—people questioning my decision, and my own doubts creeping in. Most of my worries have been about money, but fear has also been a big one. This trip is really going to stretch me outside of my comfort zone, and if I’m honest, that’s scary.

I’ve been praying a lot, asking God to guide me and help me walk the path He wants for me. Recently, He’s been reminding me that money isn’t everything. My focus shouldn’t be on finances—it should be on Him. One morning, I felt God put it on my heart to read 1 Samuel 17—it is the story of David and Goliath. It hit me deeply. It reminded me that God is with me no matter what battles I’m facing. It doesn’t matter how big the obstacles look, or how loud the opposition sounds. God’s truth is bigger than any lie the enemy tries to plant in my mind.

Honestly, I’ve felt spiritual warfare in my life like never before. But God keeps gently reminding me to look around—to see the birds in the sky, the trees around me—and to remember: if He cares for them, how much more will He care for me? He already holds tomorrow in His hands, so why should I worry?

Thank you so much for continuing to follow along with my journey. Your prayers and encouragement mean more to me than you know. I’m excited (and nervous!) for what’s ahead, but I know that God is leading the way.
