We’ve been at training camp for over a week already! So much has happened it feels like more than just a little over a week has gone by. I’ve experienced God revealing Himself to me in new ways and have grown in a more intimate relationship with Him!
In our squad we have 38 people. It’s definitely an adjustment for me to live with this many people. We have slit into teams of 6 or 7, which will be our teams on the mission field. We need a leader for all the teams and are still 2 leaders short and we’re praying the God will either lead more leaders to us, or redirect us to merge some teams together! Our leaders have gone on the World Race in the past and are incredible people we can turn to at any point on our journey.
I’m currently living a camping live style. Sleeping in a tent, doing laundry by hand, and limited shower options. Our squad has showers every other day and in between we get to take bucket showers! It’s quite an experience!
I’ve really felt an overflow on the Fathers love for me this past week. It’s also been amazing to experience the Lord working in other peoples life’s and I’ve heard so many testimonies and there are so many awesome session times. We’re being disciplined on how to spread the gospel and our squad will get to go out and do some evangelizing this Thursday! I’m really excited and can’t wait to see who God will place in my path!
My favorite things about training camp have been the worship time and my hammock!!! I absolutely love worshipping the Lord and could do it all day!
On September 20-26 we will be driving in North Carolina for some domestic ministry. And we leave for our first country, Colombia, on October 4th!
Please be praying for safe travels and the hearts of the people we will be minister to! Also prayers for guidance from the Holy Spirit and that I would continue to trust God’s timing and will for me on this journey!
